To introduce the immersive theatre experience CAFE EXISTANS, a surreal visual campaign reimagined the blurred lines between reality and performance. Fragmented silhouettes of a performer - photographed frame by frame - moved through shifting, illustrated worlds, reflecting existential questions of identity, anxiety, and isolation.
Animated with layered illustrations, unsettling motion, and the performance’s own soundscape, the piece echoed the emotional undercurrents of the play. Characters dissolve into abstraction, stalked by unseen forces, caught in spirals of repetition and quiet chaos. At its climax, the journey converges into a single, grounding symbol: a cup of coffee - bitter, inevitable, and human.
Blending analog techniques with digital collage, the video served as both invitation and disturbance - teasing the experience that awaits inside CAFE EXISTANS.
